YA LA LAY! - A MUSIC VIDEO FOR STEPHEN BIGGER

Ya La LAY! BY STEPHEN BIGGER AND THE SANTA CRUZ WORLD CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA - And Our first ever project in Swahili.

This music video was designed and produced by CLAi, and shot on the RED Epic and Canon 5Dii, all in slow motion from 60fps to 300fps, Director and Cinematographer Chris Layhe, edited by Chris Layhe and CLAi in Final Cut and then color graded and mastered in Da Vinci Resolve Pro.

It’s a fairly different style of non-narrative music video for Chris Layhe and CLAi to create, but one that is specifically designed for the World Music genre and audience – which is a challenge, but no more than designing a video for a song that is in Swahili and only uses about fifteen different words over six and a half minutes! We kind of like the way it turned out…
